Eternal Farewell: A Tribute to Dad

In somber tones of grief, we bid Peter adieu,
To thee, dear father, in our hearts ensue.
Though parted now, your spirit we embrace,
In memories fond, your presence we trace.

The cruel hands of fate did snatch thee hence,
Yet in our souls, thou art a recompense.
One day, we trust, death’s grip will relent,
And in God’s arms, our souls shall be content.

No hospital bed, no farewell adieu,
Just sudden parting, a sorrow undue.
But in God’s garden, he did choose thee well,
A precious gem, in his celestial swell.

Though tears may flow, and hearts may ache with pain,
In God’s grand plan, we find solace gain.
Watch o’er us, father, from realms above,
In eternal peace, reside in love.

Let joyous memories be our guiding light,
As we traverse the realms of day and night.
Until the day we reunite once more,
Your presence lingers, our hearts adore.

Rest now Pete, dear father, in tranquil repose,
Amidst the lilies and the fragrant rose.
Forever cherished, in our hearts you’ll stay,
Until the dawn of that eternal day.
